Ethan turns 2 in 8 days! He is growing up too fast!!
In the last several months his language really took off and... his phonemic awareness too!
Where ever we go, Ethan likes to point out different letters... at the grocery store, recently at the airport (Ahh! Ahh! pointing at the American Airlines logo), and just yesterday in the car driving home, he said, "Fffff. Ahhhh. T. Sssssss" Yup... he was sounding out Fats Asian Bistro... What?! Somebody tell this baby he is still a baby!!!
Bittersweet as it is, we are having lots of fun rolling with this new interest and of course... as a former teacher... my heart is singing! :)
